in the meantime, you may be interested in taking a look at the Atlanta Food Bloggers Alliance. i am the leader of a group of food bloggers, who roam the city looking for really great restaurants, chefs, trends, hot places to hang out, etc.
the french, of course, define classic cooking. i love all things french, especially fine cooking & eating. i also love really good wine. i don't know much about wine, other than bordeaux and a few other regions in france. i was a college student in france, and the university required that my class take a course in how to read a french wine label.
